India mainstay Rohit Sharma had a Question & Answer (Q&A) session with his fans on Twitter on the account of Friendship Day on Sunday (August 2). Rohit, who has been quite active on social media amid the pandemic, answered several questions thrown at him.
33-year-old Rohit was asked many questions pertaining to his on-field as well as off-field antics. Regarded as one of the best modern-day opening batsmen, Rohit spilled beans on many questions hurled at him by his fans. The ‘Hitman’ answered every question with the utmost composure to amuse his fans.
During the chat, the right-hander was asked to mention one bowler he would like to face from the past. Responding to this, Rohit picked Australian great Glenn McGrath. “If you’ve to pick one Bowler from the past, whom you would like to face. Who’ll be that one Bowler?” asked a fan before Rohit picked the former Aussie speedster.

However, he couldn’t take guard in the subsequent ODI and Test series after sustaining a calf injury. Rohit retired hurt after scoring 60 off 41 deliveries in the final T20I against the Kiwis.
Eager to return to the field, Rohit Sharma will be seen in action in the much-awaited thirteenth edition of the IPL. The cash-rich league was indefinitely postponed in March due to COVID-19 pandemic. But the league is all set to hit the floors in the September-November window in the UAE. Rohit will be expected to steer his IPL franchise– Mumbai Indians– to their fifth title this year.
Defending champions Mumbai Indians had clinched the last year’s IPL trophy be defeating MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings by one run in the final. The Mumbai franchise is the most successful side in the history of the tournament, having won the title 4 times.
