S Sreesanth, Indian speedster was banned for life on spot-fixing charges by the board, however recently it reduced to seven years. Its been more than six years that anyone has seen him bowling on 22 yards. Kerala quick is expected to make his comeback after completing his ban that will end in September 2020.
Although, he was set away from the game, it looks like there is a lot more cricket left in him and he displayed it with a brilliant example in a video that went viral in few hours on social media.
Sreesanth is back on the cricket field
36-year-old has already started his preparations for his comeback and yesterday he was seen doing his bowling practice in the nets against Kerala batsman Sachin Baby. In the video, there is hardly any change seen in the bowling action of the controversial cricketer.
An instance came when he bowled an exceptional inswing delivery against Baby that went past the gap between the bat and pad of the batsman and blown away his stumps. After taking the wicket of his state player, Sreesanth was seen celebrating the wicket like he used to do in his playing days.

The right-arm fast bowler was hit with the alleged fixing charges back in 2013 while playing for Rajasthan in IPL. After that on multiple occasions, the star player pleaded that he was innocent but no one trusted him. In August 2019, BCCI cut short the life ban to seven years that was imposed on him. Sreesanth took a sigh of relief after this decision. As his ban got trimmed, he came out in media and expressed his wish to complete his 100 Test wickets.
Kerala quick is one of those lucky cricketers who was the part of Team India in their World Cup triumph. In the 2007 T20 World Cup, he was one of the leading bowlers in the Indian team and who can forget his brilliant spell against Australia in the semi-finals where he dismissed Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden that took India to finals of the tournament.
Sreesanth has played in 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20Is in which he managed to grab more than 150 International wicket.
