In reply, England got to 50-run mark in 7.2 overs for the loss of just one wicket. But the next six overs fetched them 33/3 as the required rate raised to 10. But Dawid Malan struck eight boundaries during his 40-ball 55 while Eoin Morgan scored an unbeaten 26 to help England complete the chase with a ball to spare.

Eoin Morgan has a total of 14 T20I fifties for England while Alex Hales and Jos Buttler have nine apiece. Six of the nine 50+ scores of Malan came while chasing are also the 2nd most for England in men’s T20Is behind Morgan’s 11.
18 – Dawid Malan has nine fifty-plus scores in only 18 innings in the T20I format making him the fastest to get there. The previous fastest was Chris Gayle who also had a century and eight fifties in his first 24 innings.
Milestones for Rashid:
51 – Adil Rashid became only the 4th player to claim as many as 50 wickets in T20I cricket for England when he dismissed Reeza Hendricks on Sunday. Rashid is also the 2nd spin bowler with 50 T20I wickets for England with the first player being Graeme Swann (51).
201 – Adil Rashid also completed 200 wickets in the Twenty20 format when he dismissed Reeza Hendricks in the 2nd SA vs ENG T20I. Rashid is now only the 4th player from England to pick as many as 200 wickets in T20 cricket.
A slow knock from Rassie:
86.20 – Rassie van der Dussen had a batting strike rate of 86.20 during his unbeaten 29-ball 25 in SA vs ENG which is the lowest SR for any South African in a Men’s T20I while batting first (Min: 25 runs). The strike rate of 86.20 by Rassie is also the 4th lowest for South Africa in a Men’s T20I innings.
