Amid Coronavirus pandemic, cricketers have become more active on social media platforms. Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian spinner came live on Instagram. And now, Rohit Sharma has also taken the charge, who recently was involved in a live interaction with the former England player, Kevin Pietersen. He also interacted with Jasprit Bumrah on the evening of 1st April. During the chat, Rishabh Pant threw a six-hitting challenge at his teammate and ended up getting trolled by Rohit.
After Narendra Modi announced a lockdown in the country until 14th of April, the players resorted to social media to interact with the fans. From Kevin Pietersen to Shreyas Iyer to Yuzvendra Chahal, all of them look proactive these days on their official handles. Moreover, players like Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh were spotted sharing awareness about Coronavirus in a clip too.
On Wednesday evening, Rohit Sharma decided to chat in a live video Instagram session with Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. From nowhere Rishabh Pant pounced in the conversation and commented challenging Rohit Sharma. The challenge was ‘who can hit the biggest six’.
After reading the comment, Rohit Sharma hilariously trolled the young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman. He said Pant has not played cricket for more than one year and wants to have a battle of hitting sixes with him. “Mere sath usko karna hai? Sa*a ek saal hua nahi usko cricket khelke, chhakke ka competition kar rha hai,” Rohit Sharma said in his live Instagram session. The video of the same is also going viral at the moment.

Rohit Sharma and Bumrah discussed IPL postponement as well
Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah discussed many topics related to cricket. But, the duo also looked upset over the fact that the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 got postponed. They were all set to play for Mumbai Indians in the 13th edition of the cash-rich league.
However, the Coronavirus pandemic forced the BCCI to abandon the tournament to mid-April. The board thought that the things will come under control until then. But as faras the current situation is concerned, it seems unlikely that the IPL will go ahead this year. Though BCCI is yet to make any comment on the matter and is expected to maket the final announcement soon.
