Amitabh Bachchan had a great career in the Bollywood industry throughout his life. Although he saw a great downfall when he gave away a string of 17 flop movies after that he never looked back. He gave big hits like Deewar (1975), Sholay (1975), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) and Coolie (1983) to his name; Bachchan ruled Bollywood for second-half of the 70s and well through to early 90s.
Bachchan was one of those big stars that turned to the TV industry making it a big medium for any Bollywood star to come close to the audience. He also hosted a popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is currently moving in its 11th season.
