Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh all-rounder, became father of another baby girl on Friday, April 24, the first day of Ramadan Kareem. Amidst the gloom of the coronavirus pandemic, the cricketer has had some moments to rejoice in his personal life. To start with, the left-hander gave a hint of him becoming a father after he posted his first daughter Alaina Hasan’s picture, holding shirt.
He is married to Umme Ahmed Shishir since 2012 and gave birth to Alaina in 2015. Their second child was born in the United States where the family is residing due to the lockdown following the coronavirus outbreak. Recently, he also revealed the name of their newborn baby, Errum Hasan, which means Jannat (heaven). The 33-year-old shared a picture to make the revelations.
The Jessore-born Shakib captioned the adorable picture and wrote, “On 24th April the first day of Ramadan Kareem on a Friday at fajar time we have been blessed with another baby girl, another blessing from Allah SWT and we have named her (Errum Hasan) means (Jannat) because she truly is a piece of heaven Alhamdulillah,” Even Shishir posted the same on her Instagram handle.

Shakib Al Hasan having a tough time
Even as his personal life has been pretty smooth, his cricket career has had a lot of hurdles of late. Back in October 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) handed him a suspension and he could only return to cricket after October 2020. The same was because he failed to report three corrupt approaches made to him. He didn’t play the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as well.
He missed the tour of India and the series against Pakistan as well. Back in March, he turned 33 and had to celebrate his birthday alone as he was in a 14-day quarantine period. In a video on his Facebook page, Shakib said how he was devastated to spend the special day with his loved ones.
But he understood the importance of staying away due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Recently, he has been trying to help the ones in the pandemic situation through his foundation. Shakib also auction his special World Cup 2019 bat for taka 20 lakhs in order to raise funds for the needy.
