Amidst growing concern over Coronavirus pandemic, the government is requesting every individual to come out in support them against the threatening disease. The Prime Minister of Australia recently requested for help from the companies over the shortage of medical supplies. And Shane Warne has taken a note of it and has started working over the same.
Shane Warne, the former Aussie cricketer is one of the best spinners in the history of cricket. He ended up taking 708 wickets in Tests which is most by a player until now. He bid adieu to international cricket back in 2006 and since then he is working in different spaces. Recently, he along with some investors opened a gin producing company named Seven Zero Eight. It was named on the total number of wickets taken by the former in Test cricket.
Shane Warne steps out to help the Australians
The former might had the request of his Prime Minister in his mind due to which now his company will start producing sanitizers. His focus is now shifted to producing around 70% of the sanitizer to Western Australia hospitals to help them out over the shortage of supplies.
As far as the reports are concerned, Seven Zero Eight will produce sanitizers until the need exists. And, for now, they have stopped the production of Gin alcohol in order to direct their focus over the new production unit. He took to his Instagram handle and shared this important update with the fans.
This is not the first time that Shane Warne has step out to help the citizens of his country. Earlier, when Australia was hit with the natural calamity of Bushfire, at that time, the former Aussie international had kept his baggy green cap for auction. And, the fund raised from the same was donated to the relief fund to help people who have suffered from the devastating bushfires in Australia.
At the moment, it is not Australia but the globe who is suffering from the effects of Coronavirus outbreak. A disease that is taking the lives of people every day is certainly turning out to be the enemy of human existence. Moreover, there is still no vaccination discovered to bring it down to a halt. In between, such a step from Shane Warne will be a blessing in disguise for the Australians.
