Amid Coronavirus outbreak, the cricketers are left with nothing much but to interact with the fans and media houses on social media platforms in live sessions. Earlier, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan were involved in the same. Now, Siddarth Kaul, the Punjab-born pacer has joined the bandwagon. Kaul went live on CricTracker’s official Instagram handle, where he discussed several aspects of the game. And, he also revealed the name of three players, who are by far the best finishers of the game.
Kaul came into the spotlight with his bang-on performances in the Indian Premier League while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He did exceedingly well and has so far taken 49 wickets in his 45 appearances. In the 2018 edition, he ended at the third position in terms of taking the most wickets. Later on, he managed to earn his maiden call up from the national selectors and made his international debut in the same year. But, he failed to replicate his IPL form for Team India due to which he was soon sidelined from the national side.
Siddarth Kaul reveals his favourite finishers in international cricket
In an exclusive chat with Crictracker, Siddarth Kaul discussed several points related to his career and experience while playing for Team India and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Moreover, he was involved in a difficult question and answer round-up during the interaction.
He was also asked to pick the greatest finishers in international cricket. The 29-year-old came out with a pleasing response after taking a short pause and said that in his opinion MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli are by far the best in the world when it comes to the art of finishing any match on a winning note.
Siddarth was all set to yet again take the field for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the cash-rich league. However, BCCI had to postpone the tournament due to Coronavirus outbreak for an indefinite period until the things come down to normalcy. Also, the chances are quite high that the tournament will get cancelled for the year 2020 as there are very fewer options left in the hands of BCCI in their quest to organize the 13th edition of the tournament.
