A total of six teams will fight it out over the course of 11 days before the champion is crowned. The sides taking part in the competition are – Wahdat Supergiant, Khujand Challenger, Kulob Knight Riders, Khalton Royals, Norak Warriors and Dushanbe Kings. After announcing the competition earlier this week, the organisers have finalised the schedule.
30 matches will be played with each team playing the other twice in the league stage before the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.
Dushanbe Kings and Wahdat Supergiant to face off in the opener
The BetBarter Tajikistan Premier League will see the Dushanbe Kings and Wahdat Supergiant facing off in the opening game of the tournament. Norak Warriors and Khujand Challenger will lock horns in the second game while the opening day will conclude with the match between the Kulob Knight Riders and Khalton Royals.
All the matches are set to be played at a single venue, Vahdat Ground Dushanbe. The squads of the teams are yet to be finalised and the same is expected to be done in the due course with more than a month left for the competition to commence.
