After dating each other for quite a few years, Kohli and Anushka got married in December 2017 in a private wedding ceremony in Italy. However, the couple threw two grand receptions for their closed ones in India later. It’s a well-known fact that the couple met each other for a Shampoo Ad back in 2013.

What’s more interesting about Kohli-Anushka’s relationship is that the skipper never proposed to Anushka. In one of the Instagram live sessions with football star Sunil Chhetri, the RCB skipper confessed that he never formally proposed to the Bollywood star actress.

“What Anushka said is completely true, we never felt like we needed to do that, we knew that we were going to marry each other, there were no doubts about it ever. So once we knew that everything is going smooth, we were super excited to start our life together. And organically things went on,” Kohli said.
