The juggernaut rolls on in the ongoing T20 Blast as two North Group teams Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire will face-off at the Trent Bridge. Both the sides are yet to register a win this season. While the Notts lost to Worcestershire, the Northants came second in a close encounter against Durham. Nottinghamshire’s second game was abandoned due to rain and they would want to get going in the competition quickly now.
The batting faltered for the home side chasing 162 in the previous game with only Alex Hales getting some important runs while the rest couldn’t do much. With the ball as well, the team leaked runs at the death and should look to put up a decent show in this game. Northamptonshire, on the other hand, failed to gun down 148 runs against Durham and even their batting failed to stamp their authority.
The North Group game in the Vitality T20 Blast 2019 will be played between Nottinghamshire vs Northamptonshire at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
The match starts at 6:30 PM local time (11:00 PM IST) (5:30 PM GMT). This game will be live on Sky Sports in England.
The surface at the Trent Bridge helped the slow bowlers in the previous game. It is expected to behave the same way and the bowlers with better variations might succeed. Chasing the total has been extremely tough at the venue and the team winning the toss should opt to bat first.

Matt Coles batted at four in the previous game and also bowled economical four overs. He could be a decent pick as C or VC.
Don’t go by Joshua Cobb’s poor show in the previous game. He opens the bowling for his team and also bats at three and more often than not performs well.
Nottinghamshire are expected to win this match.
