The proliferation of the global pandemic Coronavirus [COVID-19] is continuing to cause havoc around the world. More than half a million people have already been infected by the virus that originated from the Wuhan city of China last year.
The entire world has been put under lockdown as people self-isolate in a bid to avert the steady proliferation of the virus. Scientists from over the world are fighting tooth and nail in a bid to create a vaccine but there is still a long way to go for that.
During all this, West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has come up with a new song, ‘ We are not giving up’ on the coronavirus pandemic. Bravo, apart from being a brilliant all-rounder, has carved out a niche for himself in the world of singing. His song ‘ Champions’, launched during the 2016 T20 World Cup had become an instant among the cricketing folklore
Bravo’s latest song is a tribute to all the coronavirus survivors. In the song, the two-time T20 World Cup winner appeals to his fans to stay safe and follow all the precautions like washing hands regularly and staying at home.
“We Not Giving Up On this Outbreak due to Pandemic, My Heartful Prayers to all of you out there! LLet’sfight together A Positive Song during this Outbreak,” Dwayne Bravo wrote on Instagram while sharing the video of the song.

Dwayne Bravo had recently made his comeback in the West Indian set-up
Bravo, who had announced his retirement from international cricket two years ago, made a return to the West Indian set-up late last year and is set to be a part of the side for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia in October.
Bravo was also set to feature in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League where he plays for the Chennai Super Kings. But, with the steadily escalating situation with regards to coronavirus [COVID-19], it is looking highly unlikely that the tournament will go ahead this year.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] and each of the eight franchise stakeholders was scheduled to decide on the fate of this years’ IPL on March 24, but India going under a lockdown for a period of 21 days, the meeting was cancelled.
