England are currently bossing the ongoing second semi-final of the 2019 World Cup at Edgbaston. Chasing the total of 224 runs, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow got the team off to a brilliant start with their aggression and Australian bowlers are found wanting. There has always been a needle between the two countries when they face-off and even the former cricketers lock horns in any which way possible. This time it is Adam Gilchrist and Michael Vaughan who are at the loggerheads on Twitter.
Vaughan has gone absolutely bonkers on Twitter in this World Cup tweeting about almost everything and didn’t leave Sanjay Manjrekar‘s back as well. The former Indian cricketer had called Ravindra Jadeja a ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer after which the latter also lashed out at him. But Vaughan had some different level of fun and it even went to an extent where Manjrekar blocked him.
Vaughan’s suggestion irks Gilly
With England facing Australia in Birmingham, it was always going to be a fierce encounter. The hosts dominating led to Michael Vaughan being extremely happy and he kept on tweeting about the game. However, when Australia came on to bowl, it was getting tough for them to get the breakthrough and Vaughan was delighted to witness England’s dominance.
He then hilariously took to Twitter to give them funny advice of bowling with a barefoot in order to get some wickets. Expectedly, being the Australian, Adam Gilchrist was irked after watching the tweet and called Vaughan ‘idiot’. The former England cricketer, however, gave it back again in a hilarious manner and posted a GIF of a barefoot.

Meanwhile, as far as the match is concerned, Jason Roy has ripped apart the Australian bowling attack with his aggression. He scored 85 runs before getting out to Pat Cummins in the most hilarious way but England are very much on course for a victory.
