Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently supported the Shahid Afridi Foundation which is helping the under-privileged families in Pakistan amid the Coronavirus outbreak. In a video on Twitter, he had urged the fans and followers to donate to the noble cause. However, this message from Yuvraj was taken in the wrong way by the social media and he was bashed for supporting Afridi.
Even Harbhajan Singh followed Yuvraj Singh’s footsteps and voiced his support for the former Pakistan international. And the duo had to face the repercussions of the same on Twitter. #ShameonYuviBhajji was trending on Twitter on Wednesday and almost 50k tweets on the same were spotted on the matter.
“These are testing times, it’s time to lookout for each other specially the ones who are lesser fortunate. Lets do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundationN in this noble initiative of covid19. Pls donate on http://donatekarona.com #StayHome @harbhajan_singh,” Yuvraj Singh had tweeted.
