McLaren driver Lando Norris’ victory in Miami has pushed many teams to bring some updates ahead of the Imola Grand Prix. With Red Bull dominating the ongoing season Ferrari has been the second-fastest team on the grid at least before the Miami GP. 

With McLaren winning the race after major changes in their car Ferrari is also considering making some upgrades in their carTo do so test day at a private Italian circuit is scheduled this week. According to a news report in Formu1a.uno Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will test the new SF-24 version this Thursday and Friday. Each driver will cover 100 kilometres at the Fiorano circuit to get better data and coverage.

McLaren's successful debut of upgrades at Miami's Grand Prix intensifies pressure on Ferrari. Lando Norris's victory underscores the impact, pushing Ferrari to match performance by May 19. McLaren's 10 upgrades, including revamped suspension and aerodynamics, secured Norris's win over Max Verstappen by 7.6 seconds. 

Ferrari faces urgency to respond to maintain competitiveness. Notably, Mercedes, led by Lewis Hamilton, also displayed strong performance, with Hamilton finishing sixth and challenging Sergio Perez and their rivals. Meanwhile, Red Bull is also on the move, planning updates for Imola. The impact on Ferrari's pursuit of Red Bull will be crucial. 

Additionally, McLaren will apply the second half of their updates to Oscar Piastri's car for the upcoming weekend. With all these updates Imola GP is set to see a fierce battle. The upgrades will play a key role in shaping the race and might impact the results too
