Facing adversity: Miami Heat's quest for resilience without Jimmy Butler

They advised the Miami Heat that it would just take one win to tie the series. Following Boston's run of three consecutive victories before running out of gas in the seventh game, such words seemed nearly prophetic. Even while Miami did not face an equally arduous path ahead of them on Wednesday night, many people had already written the Heat out. They were missing their greatest player and lost the first game by 20 points.

Winning Game 2 will not make the Miami Heat favourites for the remainder of the series, but it will boost their confidence to compete harder even without Jimmy Butler.
