Kelly Oubre Jr. reportedly had a more difficult night than his other Philadelphia 76ers teammates following their defeat in Game 2. The 28-year-old jumped a red light and wrecked his Lamborghini shortly after Game 2 on Monday, according to TMZ and Gina Mizell of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Oubre appeared unharmed, as the Sixers have not disclosed any injuries to him ahead of Game 3 on Thursday.

According to officials, the crash happened about 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, when Oubre "disregarded a red traffic signal" and collided with a 2023 Hyundai Elantra on 16th Street. Both cars were taken away from the site, but some injuries happened on the site, according to police.

Philadelphia 76ers have stated to TMZ that they are aware of the accident. Kelly Oubre Jr. is fond of this vehicle, having photographed it for a German-language publication. Hours before the game, the Philadelphia 76ers experienced the craziest loss of the NBA playoffs thus far. Philadelphia led 101-96 with approximately 30 seconds left, but New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson cut short the gap to two points with a fortunate bounce on a 3-pointer.

Kelly Oubre Jr.'s perspective on recent events amid Sixers' Playoff struggles

According to 10 Philadelphia Kelly Oubre Jr. stated reports that, “Everything is good.”  “I’m OK. The people that were involved are OK. I need to probably get a driver or something and just stay off the roads, (not) be behind the wheel. But everything is good. I still was able to do my job, support my family, and things are good.”

The Sixers attempted to inbound the ball to Tyrese Maxey, but some physical contact with Brunson and Josh Hart resulted in a turnover, which Donte DiVincenzo converted into a 3-pointer to take the lead. The NBA eventually confirmed in its Last 2 Minute Report that Brunson and Hart fouled Maxey to force the turnover.

Oubre ended the game with four points on 2-of-7 shooting, three assists, and two rebounds in 26 minutes. The setback dropped the Sixers into a 2-0 hole as the series goes to Philadelphia, and on Thursday night Philadelphia 76ers won game 3 against the New York Knicks and now the playoff series is 2-1.
