The Philadelphia 76ers might have just about got themselves a playoff position and lost their first two games in the first round against The New York Knicks. They still made a comeback in the third game of the series and kept themselves alive in the game. With just 4 more games to go the game series is still in the balance and we are yet to get a clear winner between these two incredible sides right now who will be fighting hard to win.

Even though the hero of the match in the 3rd game was Joel Embiid we cannot forget the contribution of 76ers small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. The 28-year-old upcoming superstar has been in incredible form this season for his side and came good in the third game as well with 7 rebounds and 3 assists and a total of 15 points in the match. He is definitely one of the best players in the squad right now and will be hoping he continues this performance in the next few games.

Oubre car crash case reopened?

On Monday night this week Oubre was involved in a car accident where the superstar was reported to have run a red light which led to a severe car accident in the process. Though no one finally got hurt despite both the cars being towed away, it was really a frightening incident concerning the athlete. There are still reports suggesting that the case of the player is being reopened since there did not seem to be a check for alcohol or drugs or not even any tickets received. There are speculations that this was due to Oubre getting preferential treatment.

Despite these rumours Oubre was still able to play the game and when he was approached for questions suggesting reopening of the case he gave a clear statement saying “ I’m OK. The people that were involved are OK. I need to probably get a driver or something and just stay off the roads, not be behind the wheel. But everything is good. I still was able to do my job, support my family, and things are good.” Right now we do not know the whole context of the case, but with this statement it seems clear that there might not be as much trouble concerning the case.
