West Indies legendary cricketer Brian Lara feels that Indian head coach Rahul Dravid needs a proper plan to lift the title of the T20 World Cup 2024, slated to start on June 1 in the West Indies and USA. Notably, the Men in Blue recently lost the ODI World Cup 2023 final game against Australia. They also suffered an embarrassing 10-wicket loss in the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final clash against England at the Adelaide Oval to be knocked out.
However, the West Indies legend feels that Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma need to come up with some exciting plans to make sure India stands in a great position. The former batting legend feels Rohit and co. have some great and exciting players who can do wonders in the game if they come up with some strategic and tactical approach.
The Trinidad-born cricketer feels that the Men in Blue have the full potential to win the title. In addition, the former left-handed batter has also talked about how some of the great legends can make an impact in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

"You've got a lot of exciting young players coming out and you also have that sort of conundrum. India have gone with a team that has experience. My advice and it's not my criticism, it's my advice, to Rahul Dravid is to make sure and have a plan. The team is capable of winning the World Cup. Yes, it's a team that has maybe a couple of youngsters missing because of the situation. But I still believe that if they plan properly. India could win the World Cup," Brian Lara stated.
"Sometimes when you have a team with a lot of superstars, you forget the plan and you believe that the superstars can do it. Sometimes you may feel, as a coach, intimidated, telling Sir Vivian Richards or Virat Kohli, you know exactly what you expect of them," he added further.
