The entire social media was divided into two opinion groups last night after the ‘controversial dismissal’ of RR skipper and star batter, Sanju Samson in the game against DC. Sanju’s catch was taken at the long-on boundary by DC fielder Shai Hope, who was referred to the third umpire before he declared the RR skipper out.
Meanwhile, what attracted the eyeballs of the fans was the animated reaction of the chairman and co-owner of Delhi Capitals, Parth Jindal, who was seen as very aggressive when Sanju Samson was having a chat with the umpires following the ‘controversial’.
However, due to his animated reaction, Parth Jindal fell prey to massive trolling from the cricket fans on X, especially the RR fans and the fans of skipper Sanju Samson.
After facing a lot of trolling, DC’s co-owner Parth Jindal finally came up with a clarification on his animated reaction. Jindal was seen reacting to the video post which was shared from the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Delhi Capitals.
Here's how Parth Jindal clarified his animated reaction
In this video, Parth Jindal can be seen in a cordial meeting with RR skipper Sanju Samson and owner Manoj Badale.
“Our Chairman and Co-owner, Parth Jindal, caught up with Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson & owner Manoj Badale, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium last night, after what was an exceptional contest of cricket. Parth also extended his congratulations to the RR skipper on being selected for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup,” reads the caption of the video shared by DC from their official X handle (formerly Twitter)
Reposting DC’s video tweet, Parth Jindal clarified and wrote, “Was lovely interacting with Manoj and Sanju - was incredible to witness his power hitting at the Kotla - he got us all extremely worried and hence the animated reaction when he was out! Had the pleasure of congratulating him as well. Great win by our boys!”
