Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, former players and cricket experts are picking up their squads and naming their key players. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh, India's former star batter, has also picked up his key player who will be beneficial for India in the upcoming tournament. As per Yuvraj, he is a phenomenal batter who can change the course of the game with his batting.

"Suryakumar Yadav (is India's key player). Because of the way he plays, he can change the complexion of a game in 15 balls. And he is definitely a surety for India to win this T20 World Cup, Surya is going to be the key," said Yuvraj Singh.

Suryakumar Yadav's form has been incredible as he is a fabulous batter with great intent towards the game. He knows his game pretty well and has the ability to play shots, which shocks the bowlers. With the upcoming tournament, Yadav's role during India's matches will be crucial if he gets to be a part of the team.

'I would like to see a leg-spinner in the squad as well...' - Yuvraj Singh wants Yuzvendra Chahal in the T20 World Cup squad

Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, Yuvraj Singh wants Yuzvendra Chahal to be a part of India's squad since the spinner has done extremely well in the IPL 2024. Chahal's performance in domestic cricket has been equally good and he deserves a chance in the T20 World Cup squad.

"I think Jasprit Bumrah is also the key with the bowling and I would like to see a leg-spinner in the squad as well, like Yuzvendra Chahal as he has been bowling really well. I would like to see DK in the mix, but if he is not going to play then you would rather have someone who is younger and can make a difference," said Yuvraj Singh.
