The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are desperate for a win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Their match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is nothing less than a challenge as they are in form and looking to smash the bowlers whenever possible. The match is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad, where we can expect high scores in both innings as the teams have solid batting attacks. However, we can only sympathize with the bowlers as they are suffering due to flat tracks and great batting, which is indeed entertaining for the viewers. Amidst this, RCB should look for ways to defeat the SRH team in their own backyard since they remain unbeaten.

Let's look at three key strategies RCB needs to make to beat SRH in the IPL 2024:

1. Need to stop SRH’s powerplay mayhem

The RCB bowlers have a huge task of stopping the SRH batters from firing up in the powerplays. Powerplays are the times when the batters make the most out of it by thrashing the bowlers left, right, and centre. If the bowlers can pull up their socks and bowl their best, then they can definitely prevent SRH from breaking records with the bat, yet again.

2. RCB bowler needs to shine during death over

RCB's victory in today's match depends mostly on their bowlers. If they manage to pull off some good deathovers, RCB might have a chance to taste victory. SRH has a pretty long batting lineup, so death overs are crucial, especially with the likes of Heinrich Klaasen batting at that time. Hence, the main job of the bowlers will be to take consistent wickets and not let the batters settle at any moment to prevent them from scoring runs.

3.  RCB’s Overseas batters need to step up

RCB has been over-dependent on Virat Kohli this year, just like every other season. However, this year the overseas batters aren't giving their best, which has become a matter of concern for the franchise. Hence, players like Faf du Plessis and Cameron Green need to fire up with the bat to give the team a stable batting attack if they want to win games. The tournament isn't over yet for RCB, but they need to do things in the right way and focus on their techniques to win matches.
