IPL 2024: Top 3 player battles to watch out for in the GT vs DC match

The match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC) is the 32nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The battle between the young captains will be fun to watch as both are quite different in their approach and will be looking forward to winning the match to move up the points table. While GT's performance has been average this season with three wins out of six matches, DC's performance is below average with one out of six. Moreover, both teams have some amazing and talented players and hence, the player battles get even more exciting. 

Let's discuss the three-player battles in the GT vs DC match of the IPL 2024:

1. Rishabh Pant vs Rashid Khan:

This battle is between a young and an experienced player, Rishabh Pant and Rashid Khan, respectively. Both have ample amount of experience in the tournament and have played a lot of cricket against each other. While Rishabh is known for his weird batting skills, Khan is a spin wizard. While Rishabh has played 76 balls and scored 87 runs, Rashid has taken his wicket twice. 

2. David Warner vs Umesh Yadav:

Two of the most experienced players of the IPL, David Warner and Umesh Yadav are veteran players. They have played for different franchises and have given their best to their respective teams. Warner has faced 68 balls and scored 99 runs while Yadav has dismissed him five times. Both players have a strong record against each other which they'll look to strengthen in this match. 

3. Shubman Gill vs Khaleel Ahmed:

Comparatively new to the game, Shubman Gill and Khaleel Ahmed will look to create new records against each other. For now, Gill has played 25 balls and scored 38 runs while Ahmed has dismissed him twice. Shubman is an efficient batter and can go after the bowlers really well and Ahmed needs to be careful about this if he wants to maintain his record against GT's skipper.
