In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 encounter against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the pacer for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) came up with a new gesture to celebrate after taking a wicket. Rana, who has already received two punishments for his on-field celebrations from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), couldn't help but repeat the same behaviour.

He was recently suspended for one match and fined 100% of his match money for violating the IPL Code of Conduct. Despite not going crazy in his celebration versus LSG, the uncapped Indian's gesture of keeping his figure of the mouth was seen as teasing the IPL's organizers.

Fans thought that Harshit was "teasing" the BCCI after witnessing his jubilation during the match against the Lucknow franchise. The pacer continued to hold his finger to his mouth, and KKR chose to post the image on social media. Moreover, the picture went viral on social media as fans enjoyed the show and the attitude shown by the star bowler in the recent matches.

'The last 6 matches in the dressing room there has been havoc...' - Skipper Shreyas Iyer talks about dressing room atmosphere post match

KKR's IPL 2024 campaign has been going well ever since Sunil Narine took responsibility for the top order himself. Thanks to his brilliant batting and Phill Salt's excellent support from the other end, the team is now standing strong at the top of the table with 16 points. KKR is almost on the verge of playoff qualification and hopes to continue their strong game in the upcoming matches.

"The last 6 matches in the dressing room there has been havoc, teammates are coming in and asking skip what's happening, we are losing tosses, but we are winning games that's what matters. We had a great start in the powerplay. Sunil mentioned in the time-out that anything around 200 is good. A lefty-righty combination makes thing difficult for the opposition, the bowlers have to change their plans and that makes a difference," said Iyer at the post-match presentation.
