Famous Hollywood action director Spiro Razatos joins hands with YRF to assist Ayan Mukerji in 'War 2'

The shooting of Yash Raj Films’ War 2 with superstar Junior NTR and Bollywood’s ‘Greek God’ Hrithik Roshan is set to commence in a few days. The film will be part of the company’s spy universe and sequel to the 2019 release War.

Increasing the buzz and excitement among fans it has been reported that YRF has joined hands with famous Hollywood action director Spiro Razatos for the film. Razatos is well known for his work in Marvel’s Captain America series. He has directed multiple award-winning action films and has been one of the best in the business.

With two iconic actors in the fray, the team is looking to explore the untouched aspects of action cinema in India. Speaking about the new inclusion a source close to the crew revealed all these details.

In a conversation with a reputed media house, it said, "Award-winning action director Spiro Razatos, who is known for his stunts in blockbuster action films like Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The First Soldier, Fast X, F9 -The Fast Saga, to name a few, will now design and execute an action sequence that will blow people's minds. He has started working with Ayan closely and has very ambitious plans to give Indian audiences action set pieces that they have never seen before.”

Independence Day 2025 is booked for release!

Notably, Ayan Mukerji will direct the 'War 2', which is slated for release on Independence Day 2025. This film serves as a sequel to the 2019 action thriller 'War', which featured Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles.
