Amidst all the chaos, Astralis and 3DMAX have now secured their spot in the ESL Pro League S19 Playoffs. Both teams have made it into the upper bracket finals and will move to the Playoffs regardless of the outcome. The only difference will be the seeding, with the winner getting a higher seed.

Astralis takes down FaZe Clan while 3DMAX dominates Fantic

Faze and Astralis came face to face once again, and this time around, Astralis managed to get a payback for IEM Chengdu. In a best-of-three, Astralis managed to secure their map pick after a close match. The team opened up great in the first half, giving them a huge advantage early on.

However, Faze started to come back, but Astralis shut down their efforts in the final moments. The follow-up match was expected to be a tough time for Astralis, but the team managed to breeze through, this time with Stavn taking control, leading to Faze being knocked down to lower brackets.

After a huge win against Virtus.pro, Fantic was feeling like a strong contender at EPL S19. However, they were quickly shut down by 3DMAX in a dominating fashion. First, 3DMAX was too Fantic for a spin on Anubis and picked them apart round after round, leading to an early victory.

The follow-up match saw some resilience from Fnatic with afro giving his best. Despite that, 3D closed their efforts to take the match into a decider and secure a 13-10 victor, knocking Fnatic to the lower bracket to face Eternal Fire.

Group B to see their first two Playoff teams soon

On the Group B side, Team Vitality will be facing the BetBoom Team in the upper bracket semis. The MongolZ on the other hand will go against G2. Whatever the results may be, winning two teams will be moving forward to the Playoffs while the losers will move to the lower bracket.
