BGIS The Grind; Week 4 Day 1 Overview

The final week of The Grind commences with teams in try-hard more aiming to secure as many points as possible for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024. Once again, both groups saw some interesting outcomes.

Team VST with a comeback

Despite not having that good run in Week 2, Team VST surprised everyone with their dominance across group 9 with 58 points on the leaderboard. For comparison, Grind ONE Esports who was in second raked up a respectable 34 points.

One would think that VST might have secured all three matches, however, this is where things get interesting. The team only secured one chicken dinner, while the other points came from finishers. The team secured 40 finisher points.

Old Vs New at Group 10

Group 10 saw close battles between the young blood and seasoned teams like Big Brother Esports and Gujarat Tigers. However, Raven Esports managed to take the lead, be it only by two points. The team also had a similar performance previously in Week 2 and is in a decent position.

Big Brother Esports secured the second spot with 30 points, while Gujarat Tigers were just one point behind at 29. Both teams did not have a great run previously that could have caused them to land in lower spots during the Round matches at BGIS.
