Team Liquid who were looking fresh at the IEM Chengdu also lost the North American closed qualifier finals against M80 in a crushing defeat which paved the way for M80 at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh.

European Qualifier
Eternal Fire has made its way to the Closed Qualifier finals, while Cloud9 and Sashi Esport will once again face each other. The match is shaping up to be an interesting one, as Cloud9 previously lost to Sashi after a long struggle. Although Cloud9 does not have a dedicated sniper, they do have enough firepower to take on Sashi with the addition of ‘alpha’ as a stand-in.
Oceanic Qualifier
On the Oceanic side, FlyQuest has made it to the finals and is waiting for the matchup between Rooster and Bad News Kangaroos. If Rooster secures the win, they get to face FlyQuest once again. However, Bad News Kangaroos are also looking for a payback after previously facing defeat from Rooster.
