Ghost of Tsushima is set to release in just a month and is bringing all DLCs and multiple visual enhancements in a single Director’s Cut. Alongside that, this will also be the first time players will be able to use PlayStation overlay on PC. This move is highly appreciated by PC gamers as it further closes the gap between PC and console gamers.

What is PlayStation overlay?

PlayStation overlay is similar to any other overlay like the one with Steam, Ubisoft connect or discord. It provides easy access to your settings, profile and friends. Since the game will release with cross play, players can invite their friends on PS5 or PS5 seamlessly.

Alongside that, the overlay will also give players access to Trophies. These are equivalent to Steam achievements that players can earn. Previously, it was available for PlayStation devices but will now be accessible for PC players. All they need to do is log in with their PlayStation Network account, or create one if they don't have it yet.

More PlayStation games will likely add this feature very soon. Last month, PC players got Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition and prior to that, Helldivers was released. While Forbidden West is a single-player game, Ghost of Tsushima and Helldivers alongside other PlayStation games that can be players coop can take advantage of this.
