Tundra Esports and Betboom makes it to ESL One Birmingham Upper Finals

Tundra Esports have taken down the one of the best in an intense best-of-three matchup for the upper semifinals bracket at Dota 2 ESL One Birmingham. On the other side, BetBoom Team managed to fend off OG after what felt like the longest decider.

Both teams are now set to face-off in the upper bracket finals in order to secure at least the second position in the million dollar tournament and 4,800 ESL Pro Tour Points.

Tundra Esports Vs Team Falcons

Tundra Esports tried taking over control since the beginning, in which they succeed and managed to defeat Falcons 19:36 with Pure being one of the highest rated player with 16 kills.

However, Team Falcons paid them back in full in the following match in the same fashion with an 18:39 victory over Tundra with ATF and Cr1t- taking over the leaderboard, equalizing the score and sending the game into the decider match.

The final match went on to be a good, however, Tundra managed to the best Falcons with Pure once again displaying a formidable performance knocking Falcons to lower bracket quarterfinals.

BetBoom Team Vs OG

The match between BetBoom Team and OG was also quite similar to Tundra Vs Falcons. BetBoom started out with a dominating victory at 26:7 scoreline. The following map saw OG struggle against BetBoom but managed to secure the game.

The final map went on to be another close game taking turn in favour of BetBoom, and while OG did manage to hold on for a bit, BetBoom ended the match 26:34 and moved on to the upper bracket finals.

Losing teams OG and Falcons now await the winners of Lower Bracket Round 1 where Team Liquid will face HEROIC and Xtreme Gaming will go against G2 x iG while the upper bracket finals are set to take place on April 27.
