Ocean Sharma is one of the biggest esports casters in India who gained fame for his extensive knowledge across esports titles while sharing the same mind as other gamers. He is also an avid gamer himself who does not shy away from trying out different games.

His passion for gaming has amassed him over 856K subscribers on YouTube and over 450K followers on Instagram. Ocean is a prime example of how esports can help people even if they aren’t playing professionally.

A quick look at his journey

Born and raised in Patiala, Punjab, on April 26, 1996, Ocean spent most of his life there. Like any other kid, he was also in love with video games from his early years, which later transformed into a full-fledged career. He was also quite lucky to have his parents’ support while pursuing the esports industry.

Ocean may be a big name in the esports casting scene, but his journey started with his YouTube channel during the early days of PUBG Mobile. He started sharing his knowledge about the game with others, which gained him a huge audience.

Later on, he moved on to hosting small-scale tournaments on the same channel which started his casting journey and was invited to host Battle Adda 2 which showcased his skills and Kickstarter hi career in the esports casting scene.

Over the years, Ocean has acted as a caster for almost all major esports tournaments across the country. Some of these include PUBG Mobile India Tour, PUBG Mobile Pro League, PUBG Mobile Global Championship, and many more. He also hosts Red Bull Game On which features games and tournaments across India.

Apart from casting, he also acts as an analyst for teams and has worked with some prominent names in the industry including GodLike Esports thanks to his knowledge.

Oceans’ casting skill does not stop at esports, as last month he was named as the national presenter for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 by Star Sports alongside other popular personalities like Mayanti Langer Binny, Jatin Sapru, Tanay Tiwari and Suren Sundaram.
