However, Arsenal is eager to keep him, feeling that he is close to making an impression with the first team, and conversations have taken place. However, no decision has yet been decided upon by the player or his agents.

Cozier-Duberry was nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Month in April and currently has a total of nine goals as well as five assists throughout the competition. The teenager additionally struck twice in four UEFA Youth League games.

Arsenal finished sixth in the Premier League 2 table, but Cozier-Duberry scored twice in a 6-2 victory over Manchester United during the first round in the play-offs on Friday. The youthful Gunners will face Chelsea at Meadow Park on Saturday at midday.

Meanwhile, the Saka analogy may be considered as a lot of responsibility to impose on young shoulders; the 5ft 7 and 9.5 stone wide player may appear "unplayable" as stated by Under-18 head coach Wilshere.

Jack Wilshere spoke about the young prodigy last year in an interview with the Athletic as he said, “Amario is very exciting and Mikel [Arteta] likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting.”
