Rumours regarding Arda Guler were dispelled by Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti after the young player scored on his debut in the La Liga versus Real Sociedad.

In a 1-0 victory at Anoeta, the youthful Turk's goal in the first half turned out to be the lone strike of the match, giving Los Blancos a 14-point lead over second-place FC Barcelona, who will play Valencia on Monday.

His hopes of playing during the first part of the season were ruined by injury, but even though he has been available since January, Carlo Ancelotti has chosen to integrate the Turkish playmaker extremely slowly, which has made it difficult for him to feature.

When asked about Guler after the final whistle, Ancelotti responded by saying, "There's no doubt he'll stay here next year," meaning next season, amid rumors that he might be loaned out. I really liked his great attitude, fighting and fighting for every ball. He's going to be very important in the future," Ancelotti predicted about the 19-year-old, who has "an extraordinary quality, a lot of talent".

While acknowledging that Guler's off-the-ball work might be improved, the Italian said Guler has been training exceptionally well. The Italian added, "He's very young and he'll come to prominence. We're talking about a guy who has scored more goals than minutes played and that can only be a gift."

“I am very proud of them, for their commitment” : Carlo Ancelotti

Speaking about the Friday night match, Ancelotti stated that some had predicted Madrid would play it easy in light of Tuesday's away first leg of the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich.

The former Everton FC manager said, "People thought we came here to walk around, but the players didn't. I am very proud of them, for their commitment, attitude, desire and enthusiasm to continue winning. They wanted to keep the momentum going and I want to thank them for that. In this sense, they have been spectacular."
