Manchester United have been struggling with form in the current season, as the Red Devils have the worst outings in the history of the club. They have lost 13 games in the season which is the most by the club in a single season. The club is currently in 54 points and sits 8th in the league table of the English Premier League, and have no chance of qualification for the European competition next season.

Erik ten Hag's side have conceded the most number of shots than any other side in Europe. The Dutch coach has been under immense pressure after the loss against Crystal Palace where they conceded four goals. The management is planning to sack the manager after the end of the season. With lots of injuries in the side, the club have been forced to play footballers out of their natural position. Casemiro who is currently playing as centre back for the side is naturally a defensive midfielder.

However the Brazilian is playing due to the absence of a bunch of defenders being injured in the season. He was heavily criticised after his dismal performance against the Eagles on Monday where he could not match the pace of Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze as he was dribbled past 8 times which is the most challenges lost by a player in a single Premier League game so far this season. The former Real Madrid footballer is not having his best time playing at Old Trafford.

The 32-year-old might be leaving United after the end of the season as the Red Devils management plans for re-shuffling of the squad ahead of the 2024/25 season. As called by the fans 'The Tank' as per the report by Caught offside, he has offers from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr as the club is in talks with his agent.

However, there has been no official confirmation yet. The Brazilian midfielder would love to join his former Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in the team in the next season. The Saudi club are ready to submit a bid of around €40m to Manchester United for the footballer. The club already has some big names other than CR7 like Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic and Aymeric Laporte.
