Real Madrid are in the final of the UEFA Champions League after they defeated Bayern Munich on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The Los Blancos yet again made a comeback in the UCL after being 0-1 down to win the game 2-1 on the night and 4-3 on aggregate. They were behind till the 87th minute of the game and after that, in three minutes they scored two goals. This is not the first time the club has done the miracle in the 2022/23 season they did the same.

Joselu who scored the brace for the side, did not have the best of his career as the forward is a passionate Madrid fan, he is just on loan from Espanyol but has already scored 17 goals in all competitions. He started his senior career with the Celta B and then the first team, he was part of the Madrid B team and was then promoted to the first team where he got only two games for the club, and was eventually sent to TSG Hoffenheim.

The 34-year-old had a redemption story since joining back his dream club on loan after a good spell at Espanyol Los Blancos signed him on loan in the 2023 season after Karim Benzema left the club and he has had a successful spell in the club, and on Wednesday might have scored the most important two goals of his prolonged career.

Joselu turns out to be the saviour

Previously, he was in a crowd in Paris with his father to witness Real beat Liverpool in the 2022 Champions League final and now a year later he has taken his club to the final after they lost against the Bavarians. The forward did not start the game, came in as a late substitute in the 81st minute of the game and had an impact seven minutes later after a shot from Vinicius Junior's shot was spilt by Manuel Neuer and the striker followed the ball and put it past back the keeper.

He made it 1-1 for the side and yet again stepped up in the first minute of the stoppage time after he was unmarked near the six-yard and met the cross of Antonio Rudiger to score the winner. The footballer after the final whistle of the game was down in tears and disbelief that he scored two goals.
