Liverpool have dropped points in their last game against Crystal Palace. As they lost the game 1-0 against the Eagles, the Reds have missed 66 big chances the most by any team in Europe in the current season. Jurgen Klopp's side have faced back-to-back defeats at Anfield. First, they were thrashed down by Atalanta BC in the 1st leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals losing 3-0 to the Italian side. They were outplayed at Anfield by Gian Piero Gasperini's side. 

Klopp who will be saying goodbye to the club after the end of the ongoing season, will look to end on a high note by winning the English Premier League and the Europa League as well. The German head coach have transformed the Reds in his 9 years of his coaching career winning the PL, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and many more trophies with the club. The players would love to give him a fairytale farewell by winning the PL and Europa League. 

Since his announcement of departure, the club management have already begun their search for a new manager for the upcoming season. There have been some names that have been shortlisted by the clubs but as per the developments or talks in the transfer market, no coach has been finalised yet. 

Amorim or Gasperini; Who will join the Reds?

Ruben Amorim, the 39-year-old Sporting Lisbon coach, has been one of the finest coaches as he has gained lot of success with the club. The young Portuguese manager in over 200 matches averages 2.24 points per game that is an amazing record at the star of the managerial career. There has been rumours that he has been in talks with the management but the coach has not yet decided upon the future. 

Ahead of the 2nd leg against Atalanta, another name has evolved with their head coach Gasperini, as the Italian manager has dropped his comments shocking the fans as he said, "Of course I am happy with links to Liverpool job to replace Klopp but my focus is on the game." There is a lot of time left for the management to decide whether they will sign the 66-year-old manager or not.
