Bayern Munich's campaign has taken a very ugly turn as they lost 3-2 on the road at Heidenheim after blowing a two-goal lead. Harry Kane became the first striker in the European continent's top five divisions to surpass 50 goal contributions during the current campaign as he broke the tie at the Voith-Arena.

The worst preparation for Kane's Tuesday night homecoming to North London could have been Bayern's loss.

Bayern Munich set to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League next

The opening leg of the German powerhouses' Champions League quarterfinal matchup against Arsenal will take place at the Emirates. Kane, a former striker for Tottenham, has a stellar record against this opponent; he leads England in scoring during the north London derby.

In his 19 games versus the Gunners, he has scored 14 goals and provided three assists. However, Thomas Tuchel is going to be more concerned about his team's performance, as they have now lost two straight after losing to Borussia Dortmund last week.Β 

Making matters worse, they are right now dealing with an injury crisis, and the Bavarian team may be without five key players, such as Manuel Neuer and Leroy Sane. With no away supporters expected for the Emirates tie, things might quickly get worse for Bayern.
