Chelsea are facing a significant problem over Mauricio Pochettino's future, with players preparing for another summer of chaos. Despite Manchester City's FA Cup semi-final humiliation and Arsenal's hammering on Tuesday night, there has been no majority decision has been made on whether Pochettino will stay as head coach until the conclusion of the season.

Pressure is growing on Mauricio Pochettino as a result of unhappiness with some decisions, but he gained support within Chelsea, and it is acknowledged that he has been working under difficult conditions.

Chelsea are trophyless this season as they lost the FA Cup semi-finals to Manchester City and the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool.  Pochettino's club now faces a challenging six-game run-in, beginning with games against Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino signed a two-year deal with an option for a further 12 months and European qualifying as a minimum goal for his first season in charge. However, in yet another season Chelsea has failed to book their spot in European competition.

Chelsea to sign a new manager in the summer?

Meanwhile Mauricio Pochettino have signed many young players like Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto but they have failed to live up with their expectation. He has also expressed that the squad's lack of experience resulted in losing games.

However, it looks like Chelsea will sack Mauricio Pochettino by the end of the season and will appoint a new manager for the new Premier League season who can bring back glory to the club. According to some reports Chelsea are looking at two candidates who have been on line at Stamford Bridge. Ruben Amorin and Roberto De Zerbi can take over from Mauricio Pochettino in the new season as Roberto De Zerbi has transformed Brighton club and has become one of the rising managers in the football world.
