No Chelsea or Manchester United; Victor Osimhen agrees to join other European Giant

The African forward has been linked with some of the big clubs in Europe, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have been the three clubs that are in race for signing the Napoli striker for the next season.

Victor Osimhen have been one of the finest striker in the Serie A over the previous two seasons. The Nigerian helped win Napoli their third title in the Italian league after 33 years in the previous season itself. However their form in the ongoing season has been poor they are currently placed 8th in the points table and out of the European qualification race for the next season as well. The 25-year-old striker is not happy at the club. 

The African forward has been linked with some of the big clubs in Europe, with Manchester United, Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain have been the three clubs that are in race for signing the Napoli striker for the next season. All these three clubs are in desparate need of a No.9. However United have Rasmus Hojlund, but they need to bolster their attack by adding another striker. On the other hand Chelsea have struggled for a No.9 and they will also be desparate to sign him. 

PSG are the favourites despite the two English showing interest in the striker. The French champions have agreed to sign the striker for a amount of €120m. As per the developments he might be replacing Kylian Mbappe who is already on the verge of joining Real Madrid in the upcoming season and the management have found a replacment for the French forward. 

Oshimen one step away to join PSG

According to the Italian daily newspaper Il Mattino, Osimhen is 'one step away' from joining PSG, with Napoli waiting for the French club to meet the striker's release clause. The Nigerian is already preparing himself for joining the club for the ucpoming season He has also indicated that the fans of leaving Italy in the summer window and is preparing for a farewell speech for the fans. The French reigning champions have 4 games left and needs to win all the remaining games to defend the title. 

Luis Enrique's side will be facing Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League on April 30th. They performed excellently against FC Barcelona by coming back from 2-3 to win 4-1 against the Blaugranes at the quarter-finals of the UCL and they will hope to deliver something similar in the last four as well.
