Who is Lamine Yamal?

FC Barcelona unearthed a new talent in the form of Lamine Yamal who came through the ranks from the youth team. Xavi was quick to give him his debut during this current season as many had likened him to the Argentine superstar Lionel Messi.

In the 32 games this year, Yamal has scored just 4 goals but has been effective in giving assists. His impressive form also saw him make his debut for Spain where he has played six games so far and scored two goals.

As per the reports, the youngster is priced at over 200 Million and PSG would have to fork out a huge sum to get Lamine Yamal to the Parc De Princess. The last player to move to PSG from Barcelona was Lionel Messi at the end of his contract with the Spanish giants.

Neymar made his move to PSG in 2017 in what is still the biggest amount paid for a player in football history. Meanwhile, PSG just need one point to wrap up the Ligue 1 title race as they have 69 points compared to 58 by Monaco FC.

PSG managed to beat Lorient over the weekend with a 4-1 margin thanks to a brace of goals from Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe. If they win or draw against Le Havre over the weekend PSG would have won yet another league title to make themselves the most successful club in France.
