Tottenham Hotspur faced Arsenal in the all important North London derby on Sunday at the White Hart Lane. The Gunners have been in the title race for the English Premier League. Mikel Arteta's side started the game exactly as the league leaders. The away side keeping on the pressure and they broke the deadlock after Bukayo Saka's corner was met by Spurs player Pierre Hojbjerg who scored an own goal. 

They kept on the pressure and after a beautiful diagonal ball from Kai Havertz towards Bukayo Saka during the counter attack led the winger make it 2-0 and soon again they made it 3-0 from another corner when Havertz met with Declan Rice's corner. In the second half the game happened in the opposite half with Spurs created pressure and two mistakes left the visitors in danger as Christian Romero scored from the mistake of David Raya and Heung-Min Son scoring from the spot.

Guglielmo Vicario-4

Could not have done with the three goals he conceded, made one brilliant save to deny the Gunners for the fourth one. 

Pedro Porro-5.5

Porro made some good runs down the wings tried create an impact but failed to as he was much in his defensive duties marking Trossard and Havertz. 

Cristian Romero-6.5

Was decent at the back made good interceptions had the best chance of scoring but was denied by the post later scored the goal after Raya failed to clear the ball. 

Mickey van de Ven-6.5

The Dutch defender was shaky in the first half made it up by doing good blocks and clearances in the second, struggled marking Havertz was good attacking wise overall average performance.

Ben Davies-4.5

Davies had problems against Saka as he struggled against the winger and failed to contribute attacking wise as well. However earned a penalty in the dying minutes of the game.

Rodrigo Bentancur-4

Bentancur was off in the middle of the park as he failed to match with the pace of the Gunners midfielders and was caught during the counter attack as well, thus was taken off. 

Pierre Hojbjerg-4

Hojbjerg was poor in the middle of the park, as he looked shaky in the midfield, he scored an own goal as well and could not destroy or control the tempo of the game. 

Dejan Kulusevski-7.5

The best player for Spurs as he tried his best to create chances and made good runs inside the box but could not deliver the final ball. 

James Maddison-5.5

Maddison was good in the first half as the English winger tried taking some shots and deliver some balls inside the box. The English winger was overall average in the game. 

Timo Werner-2.5

Werner was a mere spectator in the pitch as the German forward did not have any chance to score and neither create any chance for the side. 

Heung-Min Son-5

Was silent for the whole game, however scored the penalty goal and made it 2-3 for the side. The winger was off colour in the most important game of the side.

Came in as a substitute matched the pace of the game controlled the middle of the park for the side and created balls for the wingers.

The Brazilian since coming on as a sub could not trouble the Arsenal defence, had some good battles with Gabriel but failed to score.

Johnson was excellent since coming on as he created problems in the wings for the Arsenal and delivered good balls inside the box.

Raya was not tested much, but the goalkeeper while clearing a ball mis-kicked it that led Christian Romero to make 1-3 for the home side. Also could not save the penalty of Son.

White was good in the first half as he linked up with Saka well, decent in the second 

William Saliba-6.5

Saliba was excellent at the back had good time against Son and did not let the South Korean create any problem. Though he had no options in conceding the two goals. 

Gabriel Magalhaes-6

The Brazilian was rock solid at the back as he made some crucial interceptions inside the box. Well marked Son and Maddison and did some harsh tackles as well.  

Takehiro Tomiyasu-7

Excellent down the left-back neutrilized the attacks of Son and Maddison in the half was equally involved in the attacking third and had a chance to score as well.

Martin Odegaard-6

The club captain was brilliant in the first half created some brilliant chances for the side. In the second half was less seen with the ball.  

Thomas Partey-6.5

Partey was excellent in the midfield made vital blocks and did control the tempo of the game. 

Declan Rice-6.5

Was good in the midfield throughout the game as he made the transitions from defence to attack look easy took out the loose balls and passed it in the wings, however was rash clearing a ball fouling Davies inside the box and awarding a penalty.

Bukayo Saka-8

Saka was excellent in the whole game as the winger kept pressure in the left side and always got the better of Davies in the wings and scored a beautiful goal after receiving the ball from Havertz.

Kai Havertz-9

Amazing performance from the former Chelsea man as he was all over the pitch for the side made brilliant runs in the wings and in the middle of the park scored one and assisted one goal as well. 

Leandro Trossard-5.5

Trossard was decent down the wings created lot of problems for Pedro Porro, could not deliver any goal scoring chances as such.
