Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel refused to comment on the possibility that he might come back to the Premier League, although he did say he enjoyed managing in England.

Manchester United may make a managerial switch during the summer, with Erik ten Hag staring an unclear future following a poor second season in charge.

United suffered their 13th Premier League defeat of the season, a club record, versus Crystal Palace on Monday. With only three league games remaining, the Reds' goal differential is minus three, and many believed that the 4-0 thrashing at Selhurst Park would put the final nail in Ten Hag's coffin.

Ten Hag may still lift a trophy this campaign, with the final of the FA Cup versus Manchester City approaching, however there is mounting speculation that he will be fired after that. Bayern Munich stated in February that Tuchel would be departing at the completion of the season, and the German has previously praised United in the media.

Tuchel is a possibility to succeed Ten Hag and might depart Bayern Munich with the UEFA Champions League if his team defeats Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

“Maybe I’m on holiday no matter what” : Thomas Tuchel

The 50-year-old spoke with TNT Sports before the game about his future plans.“It’s very, very, very unlikely that it’s at Bayern. I have to say, because we have an agreement, there is at the moment no reason to doubt this agreement. We took this position, the initiative came from the club, and so it is and I’m fine with it.”

The former Chelsea manager said that, "I don’t need it for the extra percentage of competitiveness because I’m always up for a win, I’m always thinking how to improve the squad or how to improve myself in coaching. We go all in. Does it [winning Champions League] have an influence on where I am next season? Maybe not, maybe I’m on holiday no matter what, let’s see, let’s see.”
