Liverpool have been currently fighting for the Premier League title race, they are currently placed third after the shocking 1-0 defeat against Crystal Palace on Sunday, with the loss against the Eagles they stay two points behind league leaders Manchester City and the same point with Arsenal as the Gunners are ahead on goal difference. Jurgen Klopp's side have lost two back-to-back home games at Anfield, first 3-0 against Atalanta BC and on the weekend against Palace.

Trent Alexander-Arnold who came in as a substitute in the game against the Eagles could not have much of an impact. The full back ahead of the clash against Atalanta had a conversation with former Manchester United captain Gary Neville, in a talk show called The Overlap which is a Sky Sports show. They were caught playing darts and having a conversation about playing under Klopp and competition against City and Arsenal

Sadio Mane: A legend for Liverpool

During the talk show, he was heard talking about his former teammate Sadio Mane. Neville asked him about how good was the Senegalese winger during his time with the Reds. The English full-back believes that he has never played against him as he was sensational and Arnold compared him with one of the greatest footballers Cristiano Ronaldo. The winger scored 90 goals during his stint with the club in 196 appearances.

Mane came in as a normal player but left as a legend for the club spending six seasons at Anfield before leaving for German Giants Bayern Munich where he spent just one season and left Europe and joined Ronaldo at Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. The 32-year-old has scored 10 goals in just 26 appearances for Al Nassr.

Ahead of the next game, the German head coach has a lot of things to change and make sure that his boys utilise the genuine goal-scoring opportunities as they have missed 66 big chances the most by any team across Europe this season. In his farewell season, the tactician would love to end up with some trophies for a fairytale farewell after 9 years of his service, as he already announced his departure from the club after the end of the season.
