Paris Saint-Germain hosted Borussia Dortmund of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, as the French champions looked for place in the final of the UCL. Luis Enrique's side came in the match after their 1-0 defeat in the 1st leg at the Signal Iduna Park.  Dortmund looked threatning on the counter with Karim Adeyemi almost scoring but was denied by the big dving save by Gianluigi Donnarumma.  

The second half began with the deadlock in the first half. PSG had the best chances of the second half after Warren Zaire Emery's effort hit the post in the 47th minute. Later the visitors took the chance after Mats Hummels stepped up on the big ocassion as he scored a free header from the corner breaking the deadlock and making 2-0 on aggregate.

Paris Saint-Germain

Gianluigi Donnarumma-7

The Italian shot-stopper was decent on the night as he should have made an outing during the goal of the visitors however made one save in the first half to deny Adeyemi. 

Achraf Hakimi-6.5

Hakimi was decent on the night with the Moroccan full back struggled against the pace of Adeyemi and Maasten. Not lively in the attack in the first half had some runs in the second half set up a pass for Mbappe who failed to score.  

Marquinhos-7.5

Marquinhos tried his best to put his side in the lead by making some attacking runs during the free kicks and the corner. He failed to create much in the game. He made sure Fullkrug was silent in the game and did not allow any space. 

Lucas Beraldo-5

The centre back failed to mark Hummels during the corner kick as the German center back punished his side. Was not much effective during the counter attacks of the game. 

Nuno Mendes-6

The Portuguese left-back yet again struggled against Sancho as he could not make the attacking runs while he was there in the pitch. Was decent since the winger came off and took a shot which struck the lower side of the post. 

Warren Zaire Emery-5

The midfielder did all the hard work in the middle of the park but he could not score from the most easiest chances on the night as he struck the post almost near from the goal. 

Vitinha-8

The Portuguese was excellent in the middle controlled the game while they had position and was the main man in the middle of the park for creating the attacks for the side. He tried his usual long range shots but failed to keep it on target and his shot also struck the upper side of the post.  

Fabian Ruiz-6

The Spanish midfielder was good in the middle of the park helped the attack as well, but could not find the back of the net. He had to be taken off to increase attacking forces for the side. 

Ousmane Dembele-6.5

Dembele was off in the first half he did make runs and delivered the balls which was always met by the Dortmund defence, looked lively in the second earned a foul right in the edge of the box. 

Goncalo Ramos-3.5

The Portuguese No.9 was horrible in the game had the chances to put his side ahead but he failed to keep his shots on target and trouble Gregor Kobel.  

Kylian Mbappe-4.5

Disappointing performance from the most important man of PSG. The 25-year-old did not look in best of touches on the game failed to score two open chances and was neutral down the wings.

The Spanish forward despite coming on could not help his side to get past the defence of Dortmund tried some shots but were blocked by the Dortmund defenders.

Looked lively since coming on delivered some good balls inside the box he gave some troubles to Maasten since coming on while linking up well with Dembele.

Gregor Kobel-6

Kobel was not much tested in the game as the ball struck the post most of the times. But saved one chance of Mbappe in the dying minutes of the game to keep a clean sheet. 

Julian Ryerson-7

The right back dealt with Mbappe and Mendes well as he did not let the two create much trouble on the defence of the side. Went well in the attack and linked with Sancho as well.   

Mats Hummels-10

Hummels was brilliant at the back line on the night used all his experiences to nullify Mbappe for most of the game, made some excellent blocks and interceptions. Scored the most important goal of the match to make the lead 2-0 on aggregate for the side. He was also named as the player of the match. 

Nico Schlotterbeck-8.5

Schlotterbeck was brilliant in the night paired well with his experienced center back Hummels and denied Ramos to create much problem in the back line was excellent with his interceptions.   

Ian Maatsen-7.5

Maasten was excellent down the left hand side as he neutrilized Dembele and did not let the winger make runs inside the box and managed well with Hakimi during the PSG full-back's overlapping run. 

Marcel Sabitzer-7

The Austrian was good on the night, looked dangerous during the counter attacks for the side making the late runs inside the box to stretch the defence, could not find the back of the net. 

Emre Can-7.5

Can used all his experience in the midfield and destroyed the attacks of the home side was well linked with the defence and allowed less space for the side. However went more defensive during the last 10 minutes of the game. 

Jadon Sancho-6.5

The English winger is a having a time of his life as he continued to show brilliant display down the left flank and had good battles against Mendes. Created opportunities in the first half of the game was taken off after the hour mark for defensive re-inforcements. 

Julian Brandt-7

Played as a proper No.10 as the creative midfielder made the late runs inside the box. The German controlled the attack in the final third by delivering the balls wide in the wings. 

Karim Adeyemi-7.5

The winger yet again was impressive on the night looked threatning with the ball down the wings and created problems for Hakimi at the right hand side was through on a counter attack but his effort was denied by the Italian goalkeeper. 

Niclas Fullkrug-4

Dortmund was busy defending PSG's attacks, as the first-leg hero was a mere specatator in the pitch, spending the majority of the game isolated from the rest of the team.
