The beautiful game of football have experienced a lot of young talents develop over the years. As the game has passed by the young talents have turned out to be the stars of the game and some has been overshadowed due to their luxurious lifestyle at a young age. However there has been players that have created a name since they started playing football, but in senior careers they failed to have any kind of impact.

The likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two greatest examples in football where these two wonderkids started off their career with inital struggles in their early days respectively. In their time there were no usage social media as it is nowadays with today's young talents get easy limelight through the likes of social media. There have been a more thrilling time to watch the  upcoming talent move through the football ranks. 

There has been a lot of footballers that are coming up from very grassroots level and playing making their names in the world stage of football. As the clubs are also promoting the usage of more younger prospects in order to develop the footballers's skills and test the temparment and handling of pressure in high intensity games. FIFA and French Football Federation has the initiative to provide for the 'Best Young Player' award every year. In the article we will be looking for the footballer who can win the 'Best Young Player' trophy for the year.

3. Lamine Yamal 

Lamine Yamal has come through the ranks of La Masia academy of FC Barcelona. The 16-year-old winger have been delivering for the club in the biggest stages of the game in the current season and has been the player who have catched the eye of many former footballers and the pundits as well. Yamal has also debuted for the Spain national side and became the youngest player and scorer for the national team. The Spanish winger has played 44 games for the Blaugranes and has provided 8 assists and scored 6 goals. 

2. Florian Wirtz 

Florian Wirtz is having a dream run of his life. The German attacking midifelder has been in his absolute best in the current season. The 20-year-old have been the crucial member of the Bayer Leverkusen side that won their maiden Bundesliga and are in a 45 match un-beaten run across all competition. Wirtz has scored 17 goals and provided 19 assist in all games for the club. 

1. Cole Palmer 

Cole Palmer have been in brilliant form especially in the second half of the season. The English winger since joining Chelsea FC have scored 25 goals across competitions for the West London side. The 21-year-old forward is leading the race for joint-highest goal scorer in the English Premier League as well with 20 goals, he has carried the Blues on his own shoulder in the current PL season.
