The WWE fraternity is set to have a plethora of active Hall of Fame inductees who are part of the company; however, some of them are still part of regular WWE TV. Notably, some of the wrestlers with the likes of Bill Goldberg have been a constant part of the company, as well as getting great promotions with some heavy matches. Meanwhile, it clearly seems that he hasn't retired yet so far and might be waiting for the final battle.

However, there are rumours spreading that WWE has failed to provide him with the match, as there were talks about the same happening under Tony Khan's wing in AEW. Meanwhile, Goldberg has recently opened up about his talks with Tony Khan, who is the AEW boss, and how much he is interested in joining the company. Interestingly, Goldberg comes up with a bold verdict while calling the product the cheesy one.

I’ve talked to him a number of times throughout the past: Bill Goldberg

“I’ve talked to him a number of times throughout the past. But this is where you’re gonna get the bluntest answer you’re gonna get from me. The product’s too cheesy. It doesn’t deserve to have…I mean, whatever. You’re really gonna get me going. But if there was a comparable, viable option as a competitor that would allow me to still look myself in the mirror after I was a member of their roster, yeah, then it would be a consideration. But not a chance,“ Goldberg said while speaking on 93.7 The Ticket.

Meanwhile, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer also talks about the major reason Bill did not join the AEW despite being in talks with Tony Khan.

"My gut is that it's probably just his asking price must have been high. I mean, Tony Khan last year on multiple occasions talked about how he's friends with Bill Goldberg, they've been talking and you got the impression he was going to come in but then he never did, said Dave Meltzer.
