Unfortunately, the relationship ended only after two years in 2015 which ended a tennis love story everyone was raving about.

2. Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert

If you thought Sharapova and Dimitrov were a great couple, the perfect power couple back in the day was between Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert. Both of them were one of the best players in their generation and had won multiple major trophies. The ending of this relationships turned out to be one of the biggest controversies in the game of tennis. The relationship almost came to the point of marriage but sadly everything was called off and what was one of the most popular romances had a terrible and sad ending.

The modern generation has also given us some great tennis couples and one of them was between Greek God Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spaniard Paula Badosa. This couple looked really cute on paper and there were a lot of cute social media stories regarding the two players. Unfortunately, we will not get to see that in the future since the couple have recently split with Badosa posting a story on Instagram. Though there will be some fans who are not happy with this relationship breaking, it is exactly great to hear that they will still be on good terms going forward.
