This was an opportunity for Zverev to also win something at home.

This match really shocked all the fans who expected Zverev to beat Garin convincingly after Garin completely turned the tables. Garin won both the sets winning 6 games to 4 beating Zverev in two straight sets. This was really a huge upset in the world of tennis that no one ever expected. This has also begun to be a disappointing clay season run for Zverev, who is considered one of the best players in the world right now.

This has turned out to be one of the major upsets of the tournaments that no one ever expected. Zverev will most likely play the upcoming French Open and he would want to forget these disappointing performances in the last two tournaments he has featured in. This is another learning curve for the 26-year-old talent. As for Garin he has done the unthinkable and will be playing the semi-final tomorrow against another top-ranked player Taylor Fritz. Overall it has been a great achievement for the Chilean.
