There are a total of 4 grand slam tournaments which everyone always looks forward to in the world of tennis. These are the huge-scale tournaments that have a huge fan following among the masses. they are said to be one of the toughest tournaments to ever be played by some of the world-class tennis players around the world. The hype and fan following for these tournaments is really on another level which we do not witness in these ATP tournaments a lot.

The next upcoming grand slam right now with clay season going on is the French Open most notably called the Roland Garos. This is a tournament held in the capital of France and has been known to be one of the toughest grand slams ever. The titles in this tournament belong to none other than the king of clay Rafael Nadal who has 14 French Open titles to his name. Once again there is nobody who has come close to this record by the Spaniard even today.

What does the French Open have in store for us?

Just like every time the tournament will be going on for 21 days and will be beginning on the 20th of May with Qualifiers and the main draw will start from the 25th. This will be the moment when we will get to witness a tournament where we will once again get to see not only the men's, but also women's tennis players give their performances. Last season's winner in the men's singles was Novak Djokovic who will want to prove himself in the tournament after some disappointing performances at the start of the season. The Women's singles was won by Iga Swiatek who is still leading the WTA charts and is in incredible form so far. there will also be notable players such as Rafael Nadal who will most likely make his grand slam comeback in Paris and will be looking for his 15th title. There might also be players such as Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud who will be looking for their first grand slam title as well.

Though the comeback of Andy Murray is still not clear, Carlos Alcaraz will most likely be fit enough to feature in this much-awaited season. As for the women, there will be Iga Swiatek, and Aryna Sabalenka who will be the favourites to win along with some players that might cause a threat in the form of Elena Rybakina and Danielle Collins who have just found some form this season. Overall it looks like it might still be another iconic grand slam which everyone will look forward to. There are big things that can be expected from this tournament which is just a month away from starting.
