Tennis legend Andy Murray has recently given the hint that he might return for the French Open 2024 for the last and final time after he was spotted on a clay court. Notably, Andy Murray confirmed that he is looking forward to ending his career this summer, and the news also seemed true when he got injured during the last month.

Notably, a plethora of tennis fans believe that  Andy Murray played his last game against Tomas Machac during the Miami Open. However, the star player performed extremely well but went on to lose in a final set tiebreak, following which he made public that he was suffering from grave ligament injuries. Meanwhile, the 36-year-old player has been out of the game since the incident as he withdraws from the Monte Carlo, Munich, and Madrid Opens.

Sources have further revealed that he didn't plan for the surgery and stopped using his ankle to mark his comeback. However, the recent video of Andr Murray shows that he could be back to action either in the French Open or Italian Open sets to take place from May to June.

I’ve not played much on it: Andy Murray

Meanwhile, Andy Murray has recently shared his emotions after losing badly to Alex de Minaur during the opening round of the Monte Carlo Masters.

“It was awful. Nothing was good about it. I don’t know exactly why that was. Obviously, I didn’t play a great match in  Miami. And this was worse than that. I didn’t do anything well, didn’t serve well, return well, forehands, backhands, shot selection. It was one of the worst I’ve played in my career, probably. I was feeling optimistic coming into the clay. I’d been feeling good with my body the last 10 days or so considering I’ve not played much on it," Andy Murray told The Herald.

“I was feeling good and I’d actually been moving pretty well in practice, so I was optimistic. But it was pretty demoralising and I’ve not felt like that many times in my career on the court. It was really tough,” he added further.
